Aldi Trip 7/11

Well, we got back into town last night, and of course we were out of food.  I tried to make a list, but was a bit frazzled with all of the unpacking to be done, so I did my best (ei. "lunch stuff" made it on my list), and then I went to Aldi.  I quite honestly just walked up and down the frozen food aisle just tossing things into my cart.  I planned to get more produce, but it wasn't looking so hot (they appeared to be unloading a new truck full, but I wasn't waiting).  I really thought that I was going to end up spending a lot more than I actually did, but was surprised when my total only came to $46.xx.

Here's what I got:

Even though it wasn't my most strategically planned smart shopping trip (besides, my coupons were still in the van....), I don't think I did so bad.  I didn't buy any meat because we still had quite a bit in the freezer, as well as some complete meals in the freezer, so I  didn't need to do much meal planning either.

I also didn't have my grocery ads from the week because we had them hold the paper.  They should be delivering the two Sunday's that I missed along with my Wednesday paper, so I don't even know what is on sale this week, and quite honestly I have too much unpacking to do that I don't even want to know.  It might make me decide I need to run to three more stores tomorrow. ;)

So on Wednesday I will have the new ads, and I will let you know what is on sale then.
