Did I Leave Anything Out?
That was all I could think to write about as I was busy packing and getting ready to leave for our trip, but I am sure I have left something out!
What other questions do you have? What topic did I not discuss and you wish I did?
Leave a comment and ask away!
I may simply answer you, or I may decide that your question needs to be it’s own post! ;)

How does the savings for college when you shop thing work? I can't remember the name right now, but it seems like a portion of what you purchase goes toward college savings...
Can anyone (grandparents & family) sign up to contribute?
Does it effect your other savings at all?
What purchases does it include, gas, home improvement, entertainment?
What if the child does not go to college, can the savings be used in other ways?
What portion of your spending goes toward the account?
Is it limited to a specific child or can any child in that family use it?
I know I have a lot of questions, but I don't know how to find out, and with school starting, educational expenses is on my mind.
Thanks, PJ
The site is called U promise. Here is a post I wrote, mostly about their e-coupons, but it will take you to the site for more info): http://www.savingmyselfsilly.com/2011/07/upromise-different-type-of-e-coupon.html
There are many different ways to earn, and each way has different rules and percentages. You can link your shopping cards for savings at certain stores, and you can also link your debit/credit cards so you get credit on all purchases you use them on (gas and dining out have higher earning rates I believe). You get a great earning rate if you open up a credit card account through them, but it has pretty high interest rates I think. You can split it between your kids in any ratio you choose (I have half going to each of my girls). I do not think they have to go to college, because it seems to be a savings account that they can cash out. I don't know much about that end of it though, since that will still be several years away for us. =)
Hope that helps!
I was just wondering if you have more than coupon for a product can you use more than one at at time? Like say if you have a .40 cent off and a .60 cent off 1 frozen vegtables and you purchase 1 can you use both coupons in the purchase?
No, you can only use one manufacturer coupon per item purchased. If you bought two of the vegetables, then you can use one coupon on each item.
The only time you can use two coupons on one item is if they are different types of coupons (one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon). They should say up top what type they are.
Does that make sense?
