I just saw this awesome deal on Groupon today: $5 for 2 Adult Tickets to Surf and Swim in Garland! ($12 Value).  We absolutely love going to this place!  It has a nice children's splash area and a very spacious wave pool.  It's very clean and not usually crowded.  It is open late on Friday nights, and some Friday they show a movie at dusk.

It is located near the Garland/Mesquite border (take the Oates exit off of 635) and go up 2 lights.
