Aldi Trip 12/7
After my daughter got home today, i had to go run an errand...you see, I realized that my van's inspection sticker had expired....in September....sheesh! So while I had to be out of the house (without the children), I decided to drive two more blocks down the street and go to Aldi.
I wanted to stock up on apples/pears and see if they had any of the whole chickens left. (This week's ad post here.)
They did have quite a few chickens remaining, so I grabbed two of them, and a bunch of fruit. I even found 3lb. bags of sweet potatoes for $0.29 each and bags of cranberries for $0.49 each!
Here's what I came home with:
I paid just over $35 for all of that! Not too bad for fresh produce and two whole chickens! (ok, and some cookies....)

I am new to shopping at Aldi, but I am loving it! I always just ran in there to grab milk because it is $1.99 here (almost 50% cheaper than all the other stores!) Today I ventured out and grabbed a bunch of produce and am shocked at how I much I saved. Great finds today :)
Wonderful! Aldi is my go to store for anything I need and haven't been able to get with a coupon. All their store brands that I've tried have been up to par with national brands. Have fun exploring. It's a fun place!
Wow - that's a great haul! I only had room for one chicken, but I was able to pick up a package of the L'oven Fresh Onion Bagels for only 49 cents!
I was looking at the sole chicken left, but it looked rather sad so I decided to turn around and look at the other fresh chicken. When I finally decided to grab the chicken it had run away:)
You surely do not find many places where you can find that much good, high-quality food for $35. You did fantastic Amanda!
Thank you for linking up at the Aldi Savings Linky at the Aldi Spot.
