El Rio Grande Trip 11/14
This morning, my girls and I left the house at our usual time to walk to the end of the road and meet the school bus. We waited, and waited, and waited, and the school bus never came. I'm not sure if it was just really, really early or really, really late but finally I decided I had to take my daughter to school myself or she was going to be late.
While I was driving her to school, I remembered that there were several items I wanted to get from El Rio Grande, and since it is located only about 3 blocks from her school, I decided that I might as well swing by there while I was so close. I'm glad I went, too, because there were several items that I had forgotten were on sale that I really did want to get, like the $0.99 green beans.
So here is what I got:
Two bags of tortilla chips @ $1 each = $2
5lbs of ground beef @ $1.69/lb = $8.60
5lbs pork end chops @ $1.19/lb = $6.28
4 kiwi @ 4 for $1 = $1
6 large onions, 4.88lbs @ 8lbs for $1 = $0.61
2.83lb green beans @ $0.99/lb = $2.80
sugar @ $0.99 (w/ $10 purchase)
30ct eggs @ $1.99 (w/ $10 purchase)
small orange drink for my daughter $0.25
Total OOP: $24.54
