If you happen to be near a Fiesta this week (my CVS just happens to be in the Fiesta parking lot, so that's highly likely!), you may want to clip this coupon and run in.
Smuckers Grape Jelly 32 oz (that's a big jar) is just $0.99 on sale this week.
Grab your 11/6 RedPlum, and clip the coupon out. My area got a $0.35/1 coupon which will make these just $0.64 each. Some areas got a $1/2 coupon that will make them $0.74 each.
This is a great stock-up price on this item, especially if you have children who pack a lunch to school, or just don't want to eat anything besides PB&J. ;)
If you have any touch screen electronics at your house, or if anyone in your household will be getting some for Christmas, Amazon has a great stocking stuffer deal (you can even break the pack up and distribute among multiple people!):
Thursday is the beginning of December, and that means new coupons will appear, but that also means that the current coupons just might disappear!

Sorry it took me so long to get this trip posted, but here it finally is!
I did not get to CVS until late Saturday afternoon since I spent much of Thanksgiving day baking and Friday my husband worked two shifts at Radio Shack and the kids were nuts. I was actually in the middle of doing some freezer cooking on Saturday when I had the realization that these sales ended that day, so I did a hurry up and grab some coupons and hit the store trip. I was doubly in a rush because my husband also had to work Saturday night, so I had a time frame to be back home.
Now, if you'll recall my last CVS trip, I left the store with only $3 in ECBs and $0.85 left on my gift card, so I didn't really have much to work with. I made a small list, and planned two small transactions, but I went to the store assuming they would be out of most of them and I would have to regroup...I was right!
I actually was only able to find one item after I asked for a raincheck, and the cashier pointed me to a small display down by the photo counter that was apparently the few FREE after ECB items they had left.
Here is everything I got, minus a Starbucks double shot that I handed off to my husband as he was walking out the door when I got out of the van.
See! Very small trip! |
I knew that making a menu plan without having turkey leftovers was going to be difficult. Making it extra difficult is the lack of grocery sale ads this past week. They were virtually non-existent, so I've not been to the store. My husband did run to Wal-Mart (with both girls, while I was cooking!) on Saturday to browse for gift ideas and grab a few things we needed.
I decided to shift last week's menu around a bit and made a Turkey Taco Quiche (delicious, and recipe to be posted), so I needed a couple more things to make that, and pushed my soup back until Monday. (I actually made two soups, one with meat and one with lentils).
Here's a new coupon this morning:
$0.75 off Wisk Laundry Detergent
I just came across this awesome coupon:
$1.25 off ONE Reynolds Wrap Product
Here is a great coupon to print if you have a Rite Aid nearby (I do not):
Buy 5 RiteAid photo cards and get 10 free cards 1 Hour Photo Processing
After carving all the meat we could off our turkey, I put the rest into a pot of water to boil down and make a stock. This morning, I was attempting to separate the remainder of the turkey meat from the bones, when I had a realization: there was no way I could have gotten that accomplished had my husband not been home.
If your house is anything like mine, and you attempt to do anything that will get your hands dirty and takes more than 2 minutes of your time, here's what will invariably happen:
Not today, but a similar situation a few months back. |
On Thursday, my family decided to have our big Thanksgiving meal for dinner instead of at lunchtime, so that we would not have to wake up early and begin rushing through our preparations.
I did want us to have a special breakfast however, and after seeing this recipe for Cinnamon Sugar Pull Apart bread, I simply had to try it.
We rolled of the dough in small circles. |
Spread sauce, cheese, and pepperoni on them, then folded and sealed. |
Baking. |
To freeze. |
Lots of rolls (not all of them) |
Served with leftover rolls and homemade cranberry sauce. |
Here's another great coupon:
$1.00 off one all Laundry Detergent
I did a LOT of baking yesterday (I'll share in a bit), but I'm running low on yeast now. I just noticed this coupon (it's been back and forth available all month), so if you have some holiday baking to do print it now!
$1.00 off 2 Fleischmann's Active Dry Yeast
A relatively new survey site, Springboard America, is actively looking for new participants, both males and females.
They have separate panels for males and females, so if you wish you join and you are female, click here:
After last night's unfortunate back twisting incident, I saw this and started to wonder if it would really help me out. I'm ordering my free brochure, just for informational purposes. ;) You get a product guide pamphlet, a DVD that explains the benefits, and a sample of the bedding material.
