Aldi Deals: 2/23-3/1
Aldi is having an Italian food special this week. Many of their pastas and sauces are reduced even lower.
They also have the following produce items advertised to round out your meal:
Little Salad Bar Italian or Caesar Salad Mix $0.99/bag
Tri-Colored Peppers $1.69/pack which includes a red, orange, and yellow bell pepper
Whole Mushrooms $0.69/ 8oz. package
Yellow Onions $0.25/lb sold in 3 lb. bags for $0.75 each
Roma Tomatoes $0.65/ 20 oz. package
These are advertised in the Dallas area. I know produce prices can vary greatly, though. Are they the same or different where you live?

Wow, the roma tomatoes is a great price.....I need tomatoes:)
May I share these prices at The Aldi Spot linking back to you?
I did not get a chance to go to Aldi yesterday, but I am hoping to make it today, as we are out of some of the basics.
You absolutely may! I am waiting until payday tomorrow to go, but I'll be getting some of all these things. I plan to get a few packs of the peppers. We cut them in strips and freeze them so they are ready to just throw a handful into whatever recipe, and we just ran out, so great timing for a sale. =)
Thanks Amanda!
I got my tomatoes:) I am hoping to start picking from the garden soon...
The peppers were in two packs at $0.99 each I think, but the two that were left were not in condition to buy. I even considered freezing them, but I decided against it after closer consideration.
I'm glad they were cheap. if they peppers were good that would be an even better deal than here, though! I love gardening, but our soil is awful. My husband thinks that i should sit this year out from planting since it will cost a bit to get it fixed up right. We want to make a raised bed garden and add soil depth since it is just clay underneath. I am really in the mood to plant some seeds though ;)
